FAQs: Accessible Small Group Tour

1. Why Join Our Tours?

I (Robyn) have been traveling with chronic illnesses and limited mobility for over 20 years. Now, I travel as a wheelchair user after my diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue, POTS & tachycardia.

Together, Gavin & I have explored 44 countries on 5 continents. We planned every trip ourselves to accommodate my pain level, fatigue, and limited mobility.

Traveling with disabilities is not easy. It comes with many challenges, but it is our goal to make travel more accessible for all!

We know what accessibility features to look for and include for a successful trip. While everyone’s needs are different, we want to make our accessible small group tours wheelchair-friendly and inclusive for all.

In addition, I provide ongoing support and helpful information through email communication and Zoom meetings.

This includes things like:
✔️what to pack
✔️what currency to bring
✔️what vaccines are needed
✔️popular local foods to try
✔️and much more.

With all your questions and concerns answered, all you will have to do is enjoy an unforgettable journey!

5. Who Runs The Tours?

We use reputable tour operators and companies that specialize in accessibility and understand what is required for a successful adventure.

Gavin and I are not tour guides or travel agents. Instead, our role is to choose/research the destination, travel dates, and gather a group of like-minded people to travel with us to these amazing destinations!

Essentially, I am the liaison between you and the tour operator. All questions and concerns will funnel through me.

Some of the companies may not handle the group bookings themselves. To help make these trips more budget-friendly, I organize a small group so we can split the costs and make it affordable for everyone.

6. How Do You Choose the Destinations?

Our goal is to try to organize accessible small group tours to a variety of destinations that you want to visit, like Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Factors such as tour cost, travel dates, and group availability can determine whether a tour will take place. However, we will always do our best to make it happen!

Finally, we try to plan our accessible small group tours a year in advance, since it is challenging to organize a group trip on short notice.
